CRUISE-IN-FOR-A-CAUSE:
We are thrilled to be chosen as this year's beneficiary of the first ever Cruise-In-For-a-Cause at City Bar-B-Que this summer!!! We look forward to volunteering at this weekly event and are extremely grateful to all of the local businesses that help put this event together. The money raised will go into our general fund to help with our projects throughout the year.
ANNUAL GOLF CARD FUNDRAISER:
This annual fundraiser is organized by our members Carroll and Edna Gossard. We have 9 outstanding local golf courses participating in our annual Premier Golf Card. All nine courses offer a free 18 holes of golf with a cart with a round of golf purchased with a cart!! With cards priced at only $25.00 each it's quite a deal and, by far, our most popular fundraising event of the year!!
LOCAL ART AND ARTISANS AUCTION:
December 2007 was our first ever annual Local Artist and Artisan Auction. Spearheaded by Civitan member Elaine (from the Main St. Deli) and held at the Findlay Inn and Conference Center, we raised almost $6000 which was split between Special Kids Therapy and the Findlay/Hancock Library to help with recovery efforts from the devastating floods of August 2007. We are already Looking forward to 2008's event!!
Civitan is an extremely effective service organization serving the needs of the community. We would be proud to consider you for membership if you want to help us make a positive difference in Findlay and Hancock County.
